Simon Bachmann advises and represents building contractors, planners and clients in contract law, in particular in construction contract law and real estate law, as well as administrative authorities, companies and private individuals in administrative law with a focus on public construction and environmental law as well as public procurement law.

Born in 1979, Simon Bachmann studied law at the University of Fribourg (lic.iur. 2004) and worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Construction Law at the University of Fribourg. He was admitted to the Zurich bar in 2007 and worked for a large commercial law firm in Zurich in 2008 before deepening his knowledge of company law at a cantonal commercial registry office. In 2013/2014, he practiced in Winterthur as a lawyer in a law firm specializing in private and public construction law and public procurement law. From 2015, he worked as an independent lawyer with his own law firm in Winterthur. From 2014 to 2024, Simon Bachmann was Managing Director of the Zurich Bar Association. Since 2022, he has been a municipal councillor in Stammheim (Construction and Planning). Simon Bachmann has been a partner at Schiller Attorneys at Law since 2021.

Simon Bachmann is a member of the Zurich Bar Association and the Swiss Bar Association.
