Arthur Frauenfelder advises and represents municipalities and administrative authorities as well as domestic and foreign companies and private individuals in the areas of state, administrative and municipal law, public procurement law, public employment, finance and organizational law, police law, political rights, legislation, public-private partnerships and state-church law.

Born in 1954, Arthur Frauenfelder studied at the University of Zurich (lic. iur. 1981). He was admitted to the bar in 1985. Arthur Frauenfelder worked as an auditor and legal secretary at the District Court of Winterthur and was employed as a lawyer for a legal expenses insurance company. From 1987, he worked as a legal assistant and departmental secretary in the Department of Safety and Environment of the City of Winterthur. From 2000 to 2016, he was also town clerk and legal advisor to the town council. Arthur Frauenfelder has worked as a consultant for Schiller Attorneys at Law since 2016.

Arthur Frauenfelder speaks German, English and French as well as some Italian.

Arthur Frauenfelder is a member of the Swiss Conference of State and Municipal Clerks (SKSG/CSSM) and the Association of Zurich Municipal Clerks and Administrative Officers (VZGV). He is a member of the Zurich Bar Association and the Swiss Bar Association.
