Born in 2003, she completed a commercial apprenticeship and subsequently gained professional experience in order processing and as an administrative officer in the financial sector.  Alongside her professional activities, she obtained the Vocational Baccalaureate in Business and is currently pursuing a part-time Bachelor’s degree in Applied Law.

Melanie Haas is proficient in German, English and French.

She serves as assistant to Beat Denzler.

In her leisure time, she is an avid handball player and has been politically active since 2022 – as a member of the municipal parliament of Illnau-Effretikon and a member of the Audit Committee.
