Simon Bachmann advises and represents construction companies, planners and real estate owners in the area of contract law with a special emphasis on construction law. Beyond that, he conducts litigation and provides legal support to government agencies, companies and individuals in the area of administrative law with a special emphasis in the fields of public construction law and environmental law.
Born in 1979, Simon Bachmann studied at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland (lic.iur. 2004) and took on a position as an academic assistant at the Institute of Construction Law of the University of Fribourg. He was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 2007. In 2008, he joined a major commercial law firm in Zurich, then later gained expertise in the field of corporate law at a cantonal commercial register office. In 2013/2014, he practiced law at a law firm in Winterthur with a special focus on private and public construction law and procurement law. He has been practicing in his own law firm in Winterthur since 2015. Since 2015, Simon Bachmann has held the position of Secretary General of the Zurich Bar Association and, since July 2022, he is a municipal councillor of Stammheim (Department of Building and Planning). Simon Bachmann is partner of Schiller Rechtsanwaelte since April 2021.
